Kees van der Westen Speedster Raw Body — Custom

The Kees van der Westen Speedster is widely considered one of the finest single-group espresso machines ever made. This is a brand-new, one-off custom build with a raw body and white embellishments, hand-built in the Netherlands.

The Speedster is a single-group, dual-boiler machine: an oversized brew boiler plus a separate 3.5 litre steam boiler with heat-exchanger pre-heat for outstanding temperature stability. PID control lets you set and monitor boiler pressure and brew temperature on the display.

Brewing is done manually with a paddle, with an adjustable pre-infusion chamber for shaping the start of the shot, and a mixed hot-water dispenser. A rotary pump lets you plumb it in or run from a reservoir. Every machine is hand-built with bespoke bodywork.
