Bezzera BB005 Coffee Grinder
48mm Conical Burrs · 100W Motor · 250g Hopper · Compact Home Grinder · Italian Design
The Bezzera BB005 is an affordable, beautifully built home coffee grinder from Bezzera — the Milan brand behind the espresso machine itself, founded in 1901. With 48mm conical burrs, a quiet 100W motor and a 250g hopper, the BB005 delivers consistent fresh-ground coffee at an accessible price, making it an ideal first burr grinder or a tidy match for a home espresso setup.
Conical burrs grind beans evenly for a balanced, repeatable extraction — a world apart from blade grinders, which chop unevenly and produce bitter, inconsistent shots. Compact and reassuringly solid at 5.5kg, the BB005 looks at home on any bench and pairs naturally with Bezzera's home espresso machines. Grind fresh, brew better.

Burrs grind beans between two surfaces set at a precise gap, producing uniform particles that extract evenly. Blade grinders chop randomly, creating a mix of fine powder and large chunks that over- and under-extract in the same cup — leading to bitter, inconsistent results. A burr grinder like the BB005 is the single biggest upgrade most home brewers can make.
