Baratza Sette 270 Coffee Grinder

We totally love this machine. We are replacing one that we purchased possibly 10 years ago. It has given a faultless service but finally did die. It has been such a great machine. We’ve replaced it with the same machine. It grinds perfectly for a great coffee and is tremendous value for money. I would recommend this to anyone.

A lot of reviews saying it's noisy. It might be a bit, but it's in an acceptable level. What makes me love this grinder, is it's perfect for single dosing!

Great grinder, easy too use and lots of grind settings, plus the grind rate is very fast.
From other reviews I've read about this grinder people complain about the noise, however it is quieter than my last grinder and I don't have an issue with the noise level. It does sound a bit different but you have to remember that with the design of this grinder it is coming directly off the burs into the porta filter, so you will get more of the direct grind noise that other designs

Great grinder, very happy with it so far. Very consistent dosage and very low retention. I’m not a fan of the sound but it has nothing to do with grind quality. But what really stands out is the efficient service and delivery from Di Pacci Coffee Company. And absolute standout compared to so many other online orders I’ve made and waited and waited for from other companies. Thanks 😊

The Sette 270 is great. Bought this as I moved from a Sunbeam w/ built in grinder to a Rancilio Silvia. Did a side by side test with the built in grinder of the Sunbeam Baristamax and the quality of the shot was ALOT better.

The grinder its self is rather loud, hence the 4 stars. In saying this, probably best bang for buck entry level grinder.

Perfect for precision grinding, will be buying another for the decaf drinkers in the home??😊. Great price, fast safe delivery from DiPacci to my country home

I think this grinder is good value for money - a really good entry into better coffee grinding. It is loud, but this is known already. The grind is very uniform to my untrained eye and comes out clump free from the chamber. Grinds 20 grams in around 6.5-6.8 seconds at my grind size. Set dosing amounts via timer is really accurate and I find this a great feature of the grinder. I generally grind 19 grams then settle the grinds and add a short burst for the last gram, works very well. I did have to add one of the shims after about a month as I was finding the grind not small enough for my machine (breville dual boiler). All in all a great little machine for home use, with only one down side (the noise).
