Description

Di Pacci — 83mm Flat Burr On-Demand Espresso Grinder

Fiorenzato F83 E XGi Coffee Grinder

The Fiorenzato F83 E XGi is an 83 mm on-demand espresso grinder where you set the dose in grams, not seconds.

The Fiorenzato F83 E XGi is a commercial on-demand espresso grinder with 83 mm flat burrs, a 650 W motor running at 1350 rpm and a 1.5 kg hopper. Doses are set in grams on a touchscreen display, and grind adjustment is stepless via a micrometric ring nut.

Setting the dose by weight rather than time means staff don't have to chase drift as the hopper empties or the burrs warm up. An electronically controlled fan cools the motor during busy periods, and the adjustable portafilter fork holds the basket steady while it doses. It's a strong single grinder for a 2 group bar.

Key Features of the Fiorenzato F83 E XGi

⚖️ Doses set in grams

Set the dose once in grams and the grinder repeats it, instead of guessing with time.

⚙️ 83 mm flat burrs

Large burrs grind quickly and evenly for cafe volume.

📱 Touchscreen display

Set and check doses on a clear touchscreen.

🎚️ Stepless micrometric adjustment

A continuous ring-nut adjustment lets you make tiny grind changes.

🌬️ Electronic motor cooling

A fan switches on when needed to keep the motor and grounds cool.

📦 1.5 kg hopper

Holds enough beans to get through a busy morning.

Why Dosing by Weight Beats Dosing by Time

Most on-demand grinders run for a set number of seconds. But grind speed changes as burrs heat, as the hopper empties and as you adjust fineness.

  • A timed dose can drift by a gram or more across a service.
  • Setting the dose in grams targets the coffee weight itself.
  • Staff spend less time re-weighing and adjusting, and shots stay consistent.

Consistent doses mean consistent extractions, less waste and fewer remade coffees.

F83 E XGi vs F83 E PRO Sense

Two Fiorenzato 83 mm on-demand grinders. The PRO Sense adds a scale in the fork and coated burrs in a lighter body.

Di Pacci recommendation: The XGi is a proven, gram-set grinder for a busy 2 group. Choose the F83 E PRO Sense if you want true grind-by-weight with an integrated scale and longer-life coated burrs. Don't bother with an 83 mm grinder for a home or small office; a home grinder will do the job for far less.
