Ascaso Steel Duo PID Plus Coffee Machine

The top-spec model in Ascaso's Steel Duo range, a compact dual-thermoblock espresso machine handcrafted in Barcelona, with independent PID control for brewing and steaming, a 58mm brass group and a 90-second warm-up from cold.

The Ascaso Steel Duo PID Plus runs two independent thermoblocks, one dedicated to brewing and one to steaming, so you can pull a shot and texture milk at the same time with no wait between the two. Each thermoblock has its own PID temperature controller, adjustable in precise increments, with the shot clock, dual pressure gauges and programmable volumetric dosing of a serious home setup.

Over the base Steel Duo PID, the Plus adds a wood joystick steam lever in place of the standard knob, a competition shower screen, a bottomless portafilter alongside the double-spout, two interchangeable steam tips and a full set of precision baskets. It stays compact at just 270mm wide, with a side-loading 2L tank, and is available in Polished Steel, Black and White.
