I purchased a 17-19gm Pullman basket. It is deeper than the 18-22 gm stock basket on my espresso machine and seems slightly larger in volume overall which was a surprise. It does take some time to dial in terms of amount and grind size of coffee to get good results. Overall the espresso from this basket tastes good but I can't say that it is significantly better than my machine's stock basket. However, I expect to get better results as I become more experienced in using it. As the basket is deep, using 18 gms of coffee, there is a decent gap between the basket rim and the puck. I found that I needed to set my spring loaded tamper to its deepest setting in order to apply some tamping force to the puck, something to bear in mind if you plan to load less than 18gms of coffee and use an adjustable spring loaded tamper.
